For Heerbeeck College in Best, PlanProject developed an activating learning environment within several existing spaces. The design is based on six principles that connect different learning situations to the physical use of space. This approach creates areas that support both focused work and collaboration.
Within these zones, a range of Lande products has been applied. Atelier, Club and Dock provide variety in work settings, while Dots and Dots Up introduce flexible seating and meeting options. Jami and the Jami Barstool have been selected for informal work and gathering spaces, and MC Sofa and Spinner High add further opportunities for relaxed working or standing discussions.
The result is a learning environment in which students can easily shift throughout the day between concentration, interaction and movement.
The Jami Barstool is used in flexible work areas where students can easily join and move between activities.
The design is based on six principles that link learning scenarios to the spatial layout, creating zones that support both focus and collaboration.
