Bruggeske Gemeente Kapellen

The new Administratief Centrum Bruggeske in Kapellen has been designed to offer a high level of comfort to both visitors and staff, with privacy provided where needed. The look and feel have been carried through across all buildings, each with subtle nuances yet consistently warm and welcoming in character.

As the building receives a wide range of visitors on a daily basis, robust and durable elements with a timeless, contemporary appearance were selected. The work zones are positioned along the outer edge of the building, benefiting from generous daylight, while the central patio introduces calm and transparency throughout the interior.

Through this combination of functionality, comfort and attention to detail, an administrative environment has been created that is inviting for visitors and efficiently supports the organisation’s daily activities.

Within this project, the generously proportioned Casus table forms the focal point of the meeting space. Its substantial scale enhances the room’s representative character and accommodates larger groups, without compromising on calm or clarity.

The interior has been tailored to the specific requirements of each floor. Employees are provided with high-quality ergonomic task chairs and electrically height-adjustable desks. In addition, Agile work zones have been introduced, alongside both open-plan and individual offices, depending on function and workflow. Low-level storage units offer ample space for materials and documents without disrupting the openness of the layout, ensuring that sightlines and a clear overview are maintained.
