Havenhuis Antwerp

Together with our dealer Forum Office, Palmberg and interior architect Kurt Van Overbeke, we have successfully furnished the Nieuwe Havenhuis (headquarters of the Antwerp Port Authority). The Port House was designed by architect Zaha Hadid. The Port House consists of the restored former fire station with a completely new building in the shape of a diamond above it.

Activity based office
The assignment was to design an activity-based office where employees choose their workplace according to the activities they perform. 

Reading table in the documentation center
One of the most striking Lande furniture is the table in the reading room of the documentation center. This reading table with integrated benches is specially designed for the Port House in the shape of a sloop. A nano-HPL is used as the top layer of the table, which is fingerprint-proof and feels silky soft (soft touch). Moreover, it is the best hygienic solution.
