As a progressive Dutch family business, Lande Group does
everything in its power to minimize the impact of our activities, products,
and services on the environment. Being attentive to and caring for the interests
of future generations is very important to us as a family business.
Our sustainable production is based on the following
pillars:
Reuse and reupholstering
Lande Group strives for a circular economy, one in which
materials are reused as much as possible in order to reduce greenhouse
gas emissions. We do this by reupholstering furniture, reusing
residual materials, and producing furniture with a long lifespan.
Sustainable materials and products
To produce our furniture, we use as many sustainable
materials as possible and have very demanding requirements. Examples include fabrics with the EU Ecolabel or the OEKO-TEX®
standard 100 label, or PEFC-certified wood, and powder coating instead of chrome.
Reducing CO2 emissions
Sustainable production also involves looking at our CO2
emissions. Lande Group produces all its furniture and parts at its own production sites in Schijndel (the Netherlands) and Lanaken (Belgium). Lande Group also prefers to work with local
suppliers and has implemented various other measures to limit our emissions.
